Author Interview:

What inspired you to become a writer?
I am a Avid reader and I always found myself picturing the scenes in my brain.

What is your favorite thing about being an Indie writer?
To write about anything and everything.

Do you work with an outline, or just write?
I have my own system of outlining; it is a modified version of the 3 Act System.

What was the best writing advice that someone has ever given to you?
Answer: "always write the next book" My mentor gave this advise to me.

Do you have a day job as well?
Yes, I work in a IT company :)

What was the process with getting the cover for your book? How do you like it?
I did it myself. I bought a license of Photoshop and started experimenting with it. I love doing experiments on photos. It's a rewarding process.

How did you come up with your title?
I thought about many titles first for both of my books, but then I listened to the story and what characters were saying to me. In a moment title was clear to me. It had to be it.

How long did it take you to complete your first book?
3 months.

Have you ever written anything else?
I tried writing Paranormal, but never got up to the market standards.

Will you have a new book coming out soon? Can you tell us about it?
Yes, one of my book Passion 2 is coming out in April end and it is ummm romantic suspense. :)

My Review:
Passion has a touch of romance that I don't often see in erotica. The two main characters, Emma and Gavin, have a chance sexual encounter, don't see each other for a year, and then bump into each other again. This makes a recipe for two people who are yearning for each other, but who are not sure how to move forward. And so, much of the story is spent with the characters building up their (and your) anticipation for their next sexual exploit.

Passion did remind me a bit of Twilight in that an innocent girl throws caution to the wind and blindly falls in love with a questionable guy who she doesn't know much about and who actually warns her he is not of good character. As with Twilight, this dynamic only adds to the anticipation of this story.

I especially liked how Jones built his characters. This story switches between being told by Gavin and Emma, and Jones gracefully transitions between both of their voices and view points. Emma is your typical starry-eyed wanna-be actress newly moved to Los Angeles, and Jones presents her views of the City of Angels fitting of a newcomer to the area. Meanwhile, Jones humanizes billionaire-Gavin.

As is common with this genre, Passion did have some technical errors. But regardless, it was still a well-crafted story that will leave you turned-on.
